We decided to give gardening a bit of a break today, after a very tiring day yesterday, and headed off to the zoo. It was a beautiful day so we had coffee and sandwiches looking at the hippos.

Great pics guys. What did Phillipa think of the giant zebra?
She approached the zebra with trepidation and did not want to have her photo taken with it (as all the other kids were queuing up to do). The zebra was very good and got down on its knee and stroked its hand which she then went and had a go at-keeping almost as much distance between them as possible.
