The weekend that Rusty the Bear visited (June, 2010)

It certainly feels like winter at present- some days the temperature creeps up to 6 or 7 °C! A busy weekend which included a wonderful dinner with friends to celebrate their daughter’s 6th birthday. Today we went to Werribee Zoo as it was much warmer down the hill. We could also show our visitor from Kinder, Rusty the Bear, one of our favourite zoos. Philippa was very excited that it was her turn for Rusty to visit, and Rusty came with her own suitcase, which included changes of clothes and a toothbrush. What an organised bear!

Thanks Rose, Rusty is now safely back at kinder and I think that young P has to report on his visit tomorrow at “show and tell”.

Thanks Rosie, Yep good day by all accounts. I think that all the soft toys seem to get on OK, actually seems that they do not really change their expressions much so hard to tell.
